Teriyaki Chicken Burnt Ends



This is a Wonderful way of using the Burnt Ends Technique for a new flavorprofile!


Supergood, tender pieces of Chicken with the typical Sweet/Salty Japanese flavor.


Serve these with Udon-Noodles and Teriyaki Sauce (under Sauce&Dips Tab) Dozo !



Ingredients:


Fillet of Chicken cut into 1 inch pieces

1 Cup Japanese Soy

1 Cup Mirin


Marinade


1 Cup Teriyaki Sauce (Recipe under Tab Sauces & Dips, or store bought)


Drip Pan

Aluminum Foil



Cut the Chicken Fillets into 1 inch pieces and marinate with Soy and Mirin in the fridge for 24 hours.


Start your Smoker at 250F (125c) for a 3 hour cue


Place the Chicken pieces directly on the grid and run in the Smoker for 1 hour without smoke


Put the Chicken pieces in the Drip Pan and pour over the Teriyaki Sauce.


Cover Drip Pan with Aluminum Foil and run in the Smoker for another 1 1/2 hours.


Enjoy a really good Chicken with  definite Japanese Flavor.
