South Carolina Mustard BBQ Sauce or South Carolina Gold as it is called.
I totally appreciate the nickname as this is Gold in a Bottle!!!
Ingredients:
1 ½ Cup American Mustard
¾ Cup Runny Honey
½ Cup Cider Vinegar
¼ Cup Water
2 Tbsp Dark Syrup
1 Tbsp Maple Syrup
1 tsp Kosher Salt
½ tsp White Pepper ground
½ Cup Yellow Onion finely chopped
Mix and let it stand in the fridge up to 3 hours.
Push through a sieve to take out the Onion bits.
