Rotisserie Chicken



Chicken is always great but somehow the rotation of a Rostisserie Chicken gives even more flavor.

If you have the possibility on your Grill/Smoker to add a Rotisserie with a motor please do.

I do a lot of my grilling on the Rotisserie!!!!           


Ingredients:               

 

1 Whole Chicken

1 Quart Water (cold)

1/4 Cup Salt

1/4 Cup Sugar

BBQ Rub (as much as you like)

Canola Oil

Smoke Box with Cherry Pieces

 

Mix the water, Salt and Sugar into a Brine and place Chicken in Brine)


Take out. Wipe off and Season with BBQ Rub-.Put in Fridge for 24 hours.


Take out and brush with oil.


Put Chicken on a spit for the Rotisserie


Start up you Smoker/Grill with 25 Briquettes

 

Place Briquette Holders on either side of the Chicken on spit


Put in a Smoke Box with Cherry pieces


Grill under lid for 1 1/2 hour
